Caprese “in a pot” for the lunch break away from home!
Ingredients:
(in variable proportions depending on the pot/container available)
Fresh diced tomato
Mozzarella cheese
Rocket
Beetroot sprouts
Extra virgin olive oil
Salt and pepper
Preparation:
Get a jar or container with an airtight seal that can be placed in the refrigerator and proceed by inserting the washed and peeled ingredients in layers (when necessary). When serving, season with extra virgin olive oil, salt and pepper to taste. For the classic variant of caprese, replace the arugula with some fresh basil leaves.
